<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display input device with enhanced operation accuracy that is capable of easily reflecting a coordinate position of a finger in an operation area up to an edge area of a display area even when a movable range of user's finger is restricted. <P>SOLUTION: The display input device includes: a housing 110; a display panel having a display area disposed on the housing 110; and an operation panel 130 having an operation area 132 disposed on the housing 110. A shift direction of a user's finger in contact with the operation area 132 and a shift direction of a pointer displayed on the display area are associated with each other. When the user's finger is shifted in a first direction at an angle with respect to operation area 132, the pointer moves on the display area in a vertical direction with respect to the display panel.
