<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease an amount of lint attached to a filter and to prevent deterioration of drying performance. <P>SOLUTION: The clothes dryer comprises: a heat pump device 7; a drying chamber 9 for accommodating clothes to be dried; a drying air passage 10 that provides an air communication between an evaporator 5, a condenser 3 and the drying chamber; a blower 8 for blowing drying air to the drying air passage; and a filter 12 for collecting lint generated from clothes. The clothes dryer is constructed such that drying air generated from the drying chamber is led to the filter through a discharge air passage 11 and dehumidification water generated in the evaporator is discharged to the discharge air passage. Thus, drying air that is generated in the drying chamber 9 and includes lint is in contact with the dehumidification water that is discharged to the discharge air passage when the drying air passes through the discharge air passage 11. Thus, it is capable of collecting lint before the filter, reducing the amount of lint attached to the filter 12, and suppressing the increase in a pressure loss of the air passage by the lint attachment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
