PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of intuitively and intelligibly displaying the state of a machine tool body or a control device to a worker on the machine tool body without requiring an exclusive display device.SOLUTION: A machine tool includes a machine tool body 1 and a control device 2. The machine tool body 1 includes a workpiece support part 4 supporting a workpiece, a machining part 5 machining the workpiece supported by the workpiece support part 4, and lighting devices 14L and 14R lighting machining regions 12L and 12R. The control device 2 includes a lighting control part 20 changing light emitting states such as changes in color, turning-on, turning-off, flickering and illuminance in each of the lighting devices 14L and 14R according to a current state of either or both of the machine tool body 1 and the control device 2. |
