PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily read important parts of a document in speed-reading by suppressing irregular movement of his or her eyes even in the case of scattering of the important parts in the document.SOLUTION: An input unit 11 accepts an instruction from a user, and a storage unit 15 stores therein data of a document, and a data generation unit 16c executes, on the basis of data stored in the storage unit 15, at least one of first data generation processing of generating display data resulting from changing positions of emphasized character strings to heads of rows in the case of the document being in the horizontal writing mode or second data generation processing of generating display data resulting from changing positions of emphasized character strings to heads of columns in the case of the document being in the vertical writing mode. When an instruction from the user is accepted by the input unit 11, a display unit 12 displays the document resulting from changing the positions of emphasized character strings on the basis of the display data generated by the data generation unit 16c. |
