PURPOSE: A cinching latch assembly of a tailgate is provided to accurately rapidly close the tailgate. CONSTITUTION: A cinching latch assembly of a tailgate comprises a catch (110), a pole (120), a first switch (140), and a second switch (150). The catch forms a one state locking groove and a two stage locking groove on the outer circumference surface and is rotatably installed on a frame. The pole is rotatably installed on the frame in order to be hung on the one state locking groove or the two stage locking groove in the rotation of the catch. The first switch is separately installed from the frame and applies a first locking signal while the pole proceeds from the one state locking groove to the two stage locking groove. The second switch is installed between the first switch and the frame and applies a second locking signal by sensing the state of the pole which is hung on the two stage locking groove. |
