PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted pendulum type vehicle allowing easy battery replacement.SOLUTION: An inverted pendulum type vehicle 1 includes: a moving unit 50 having a main wheel 52; a vehicle body frame 10 supported by the moving unit and maintained to extend upward from the moving unit; driving units 90, 130 supported by the vehicle body frame and arranged above the main wheel to drive the main wheel; a seat 200 supported above the vehicle body frame; a battery case 251 supported by the vehicle body frame behind the driving unit and opened externally upward at least; a lid 260 turnably supported on the battery case and covering an upper part of the opening of the battery case; and a battery 250 tiltably locked to the battery case at a lower end, locked to the lid at an upper end, and held between a bottom part and the lid. |
