<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated optical compensation film to be used for improving the quality of a picture of a liquid crystal display device, a combined polarizing plate, a liquid crystal display element and a liquid crystal orienting film. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated optical compensation film is composed of a cyclo-olefinic resin film and a liquid crystal layer laminated on the cyclo-olefinic resin film. The surface of the cyclo-olefinic resin film on the side to be contacted with the liquid crystal layer is subjected to normal-pressure plasma treatment using an inert gas with the oxygen concentration of ≤15 volume% and then to rubbing treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
