PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device, such as a liquid crystal device, that achieves downsizing while keeping the area of an image display region.SOLUTION: An electro-optic device comprises a pair of first and second substrates bonded with each other. The first substrate comprises a projecting section projecting from the second substrate on a first side of the first substrate as viewed in a plane view. The first substrate comprises a plurality of pixel sections, a scanning line driving circuit, a data line driving circuit, a plurality of external circuit connection terminals and a plurality of lead-out wiring. The first substrate further comprises top and bottom conducting terminals, which are disposed on a side closer to a third side opposite to the first side of the first substrate than electric wiring for driving a data line and electric wiring for driving a scanning line while being connected to a counter electrode potential line, for supplying counter electrode potential. The second substrate comprises a counter electrode. Top and bottom conducting members, which electrically interconnect the top and bottom conducting terminals and the counter electrode, are disposed between the first and second substrates. |
