The proposed household waste bin is characterized by the possibility of separate waste collection. The bin has a body (1) and a solid barrier (9) forming four equal compartments for plastics, metal, paper and organic waste, respectively. Identical waste bags are used in the four compartments. The bin has one common lid (2) with two openings, each servicing two compartments covered by lids (3). The hinges (8) of the lids are arranged in such way that in opened position both meet at the middle barrier of the body (1), without obstruction or overlapping. The left and the right sides of the body (1) are bevelled towards the bottom for easy removal of the bags. The bin steps on the floor by means of thin legs (4) located at both sides of the body (1), embedded in the body (1) to ensure stability. The removal of the container from the bin at the front side is facilitated by handle (7) fixed to the body (1) by means of joint. At the upper side, the compartments of body (1) end with individual boards (6) for the rims of the bags, covered and fixed by the lid (2). |
