<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column device capable of improving an impact absorption effect of a steering column.SOLUTION: A steering column device includes: a steering column which rotatably supports a steering shaft where a steering wheel is fixed at an end part; a column side bracket 32 fixed to the steering column; an upper bracket 6 which supports the column side bracket 32 so that a position of the column side bracket 32 may be adjusted; an impact absorption bracket 8 fixed to a vehicle body and to which the upper bracket 6 is attached; and an impact absorption spring 9 which elastically suspends and supports the column side bracket 32 on the vehicle body. When a predetermined or larger impact to the vehicle front side acts on the steering column, the upper bracket 6 is separated from the impact absorption bracket 8 and the impact absorption spring 9 absorbs the impact.</p> |
