The present invention concerns a vacuum cleaner wherein the discharge rate can be adjusted to a certain airflow which is monitored and maintained by an electronic regulator based on continuous measurement of the actual airflow compared with the set desired value for the airflow. When the maximum discharge rate is no longer sufficient to attain the desired airflow - e.g. due to clogging of tool, suction hose or filters, or overfilling of the receiver - there is emitted indication telling the operator that emptying or cleaning is to be performed. |
