a fraction battery; a plurality of components each having a maximum amp▪hour rating for each of a plurality of time periods; at least one contactor configured to selectively connect the battery and components; and at least one controller programmed to open the at least one contactor to interrupt a flow of current between the battery and the components in response to at least one of a plurality of amp▪hour measurements for different time periods exceeding a corresponding predetermined threshold, wherein the predetermined threshold is based on an average vehicle load and a minimum of the ratings for the time period associated with the at least one of a plurality of amp▪hour measurements. |
