PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogen-free frame-retardant thermoplastic composition for use as an outer sheath of wire and cable that facilitates manufacture of an outer sheath, exhibits excellent tensility and elasticity characteristics, and has high wet electric resistance.SOLUTION: The composition can be easily worked for manufacturing a sheath of a wire and a cable, shows good balance among high fire retardancy, excellent elasticity, high wet electric resistance and excellent thermal deformation characteristics, has passed the VW-1 flame retardant test, the UL1581 thermal deformation test and wet electric resistance test at 150°C, and also shows excellent tensility and elasticity characteristics. A sheath for wire and cable manufactured from the composition is also disclosed. |
