The invention relates to an access system (60) for a hub (20) of a wind turbine (10), wherein the hub (20) comprises a first flange (32) for mounting a first rotor blade (32), a second flange (41) for mounting a second rotor blade (42) and a third flange (51) for mounting a third rotor blade (52). The hub (20) comprises a first opening (33), a second opening (43) and at least a third opening (53), each of the openings (33, 43, 53) being suitable for accessing an interior (21) of the hub (20) from outside (22) of the hub (20). The access system (60) comprises a first ladder (34) with a plurality of first rungs (35), the first ladder (34) extending inward from the first opening (33), a second ladder (44) with a plurality of second rungs (45), the second ladder (44) extending inward from the second opening (43), and a third ladder (54) with a plurality of third rungs (55), the third ladder (54) extending inward from the third opening (53). Furthermore, at least the first ladder (34) comprises a first rail (71) and a second rail (72), the second rail (72) being substantially parallel to the first rail (71), and each of the first rungs (35) extends from the first rail (71) to the second rail (72), comprising a first angle (73) between the first rung (35) and the first rail (71), and a second angle (74) between the second rung (45) and the second rail. Importantly, the first angle (73) and the second angle (74) are each greater than 100 degrees. |
