PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of linearα,ω-dicarboxylic acid diester capable of producing a reaction product directly from triglyceride without cost in only one reaction process.SOLUTION: Triglyceride having a fatty acid residue having a monounsaturated or polyunsaturated carbon chain is reacted with carbon monoxide, an acid and an OH-group donor in the presence of a catalyst, and the reaction is carried out on one reaction process.
