<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cobalt chromium alloy suitable as a cobalt chromium alloy for dental casting floor having efficient strength to suppress bending of artificial tooth by force during occlusion at mastication time and attaching and detaching the artificial tooth without containing metal allergy-causative agents such as Ni, elements at risk of carcinogenicity such as Be and elements with unknown toxicity data such as Hf or Ce.SOLUTION: A cobalt chromium alloy suitable as a cobalt chromium alloy for dental casting floor contains Cr:28.0 to 30.0 wt.%, Mo:3.0 to 5.0 wt.%, Nb:2.0 to 5.0 wt.%, Fe:0.4 to 1.3 wt.%, Si:0.8 to 1.2 wt.%, Mn:0.8 to 1.2 wt.%, N:0.4 to 0.6 and balance Co with a minute amount of inevitable impurities and has 0.2% yield strength of 780 MPa or more, maximum tensile strength of 900 MPa or more and elongation of 2% or more.</p> |
