<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of water leakage or air leakage from the gap between a ceramic body and an annular metal fitting in a heater in which the ceramic body is inserted in the annular metal fitting.SOLUTION: A heater 100 has a columnar or cylindrical ceramic body 1, a heat generating resistance body 2 provided in the ceramic body 1, and an annular metal fitting 5 in which the ceramic body 1 is inserted. The ceramic body 1 has a groove portion 11 extending in the longitudinal direction on the outer peripheral surface of the ceramic body 1. The metal fitting 5 has a projecting portion 51 on the inner peripheral surface thereof, and the projecting portion 51 is fitted in the groove portion 11. Accordingly, the gap between the ceramic body 1 and the metal fitting 5 can be reduced, so that water leakage or air leakage from the gap can be suppressed.</p> |
