The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display. The liquid crystal display according to the present invention comprises: a liquid crystal panel crossing a plurality of data lines with a plurality of gate lines; a data driving unit outputting data voltage to the data lines during a low logic interval of a source output enable signal and disconnecting the adjacent data lines during a high logic interval of the source output enable signal to perform a charge share; a timing controller transmitting data on an input image to the data driving circuit and generating the source output enable signal which defines the output timing of the data voltage and the timing of the charge share; and an afterimage improving unit detecting a predetermined specific type problem pattern from the input image and varying the high logic interval of the source output enable signal based on a gray scale variation between vertically neighboring data lines when the problem pattern is detected.
