<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheath tube for soft endoscope capable of keeping an observation region in a cleared state by smoothing a flow of perfusate, without increasing the sheath tube's outer diameter and greatly reducing the sheath tube's strength.SOLUTION: A sheath tube for soft endoscope is composed of: a long flexible sheath 1 provided with a lumen into which an insertion part of a soft endoscope is to be inserted; a sheath base 2 connected to an end part of the sheath 1 so as to communicate with the lumen; and a shaft 3 extending from the sheath base 2 to be a grip. The sheath 1 has a linear notch 12 in the axial direction except both end parts of the sheath 1, and a part of the notch 12 is formed so as to be a slit aperture part 13 extending in the axial direction. When the insertion part of the soft endoscope is inserted into the sheath 1, the notch 12 and a gap between an inner surface of the sheath 1 and the insertion part of the soft endoscope form a perfusion (discharge) passage for a fluid.</p> |
