Disclosed are a method and system for integrating television program channels and applications for an intelligent television. The method comprises the steps of: performing normalization processing on data of television program channel information, and maintaining a data structure for each television program channel, so as to obtain a program table with multiple pieces of television program channel information as table entries; performing normalization processing on data of application information, and maintaining a data structure for each application, so as to obtain an application table with multiple pieces of application information as table entries; mixing and arranging the table entries of the program table and the table entries of the application table under local control or remote control, so as to obtain a mixed arrangement table; and when a control instruction is received, searching for table entries corresponding to the control instruction in the mixed arrangement table, and displaying the corresponding content. By means of the present invention, when a user uses an intelligent television, quick switching is performed between applications and television program channels by using a conventional approach of sending a channel selection instruction, thereby facilitating operations and use of the user; in addition, the intelligent television better accords with use habits of the user, and more users can conveniently use the intelligent television. |
