PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity sales data processor providing storage and search services of electronic receipts capable of handling electronic receipts with a minimum software modification to thereby facilitating introduction of electronic receipts.SOLUTION: A receipt printer includes: command reception means that receives a control command which includes an attribute representing whether or not electronic receipt information in electronic data of a receipt which is printed and issued at commodity settlement should be issued and receipt data relevant to the receipt description; electronic receipt generation means that, when the control command which is received together with the receipt data includes an attribute to issue, generates the receipt data as a piece of electronic receipt information; and transmission means that transmits the generated electronic receipt information to a transmission source of the receipt data. |
