PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide efficient manufacturing of a sheet-like sea food cluster such as a sheet of dried sardines.SOLUTION: Whitebait WB is supplied into a formwork 20 disposed on a net bottom 12. Shower water SW is supplied into the formwork 20 from above, so that the distribution of the whitebait WB is unified in the water by the water flow and concurrently the whitebait WB is washed. The shower water SW is discharged downward through the net bottom 12. When the supply of the shower water SW is stopped, the whitebait precipitates to form a sheet with a uniform thickness corresponding to the shape of the formwork 20. The formwork 20 is removed and the whitebait is dried to obtain a finished sheet of dried sardines. No prewashing of whitebait with water is thereby required, and no skilled work is required in molding the whitebait. |
