<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive liquid detection sensor which reliably detects existence of conductive liquid while preventing occurrence of malfunction. <P>SOLUTION: The conductive liquid detection sensor uses a sheath cable which contains conductive wires 3 in the insulated state in a tube-shaped sheath 2 composed of a conductor. An electrode 5 is provided at the ends of the conductive wires 3, and existence of conductive liquid to be detected is detected by conduction between the electrode 5 and the sheath 2. The electrode 5 is provided at the position which is near an end part of the sheath 2 and in the inside of an end surface of the sheath 2. The end surface of the sheath 2 is used to be an opening 9 through which the conductive liquid enters.
