The connector has a base body and two connector elements connecting a hose segment (30) with a supplying spacer (31) and an exhausting spacer (32), where the connector is attachable at a hose roller blood pump in a therapy position and a thread-out position for extracorporeal blood circulation. Geometry and/or material of the connector are decorated, so that the therapy position and the thread-out position of the connector are detectable direct at the hose roller pump by a detection unit. The connector elements are firmly connected to the supplying and exhausting spacers. The detection unit comprises a capacitive working proximity sensor, a Hall sensor and/or an inductive working proximity sensor. An independent claim is also included for a medical device for extracorporeal blood treatment.
