<p>The invention is directed to a mechanical combustion engine coolant pump (10) for pumping a coolant for an internal combustion engine, with a stationary cylindrical support body (22), a rotatable driving wheel (32) which is supported by a roller bearing (28) at the cylindrical support body (22) and is driven by the combustion engine, a pump wheel (20) at a rotatable rotor shaft (18) being supported by a roller bearing (26) at the cylindrical supporting body (22), and a switchable friction clutch (40) for coupling the driving wheel (32) with the pump wheel (20). The cylindrical support body (22) integrally comprises the inner ring of the driving wheel roller bearing (28), and the cylindrical support body (22) integrally comprises the outer ring of the shaft roller bearing (26).</p> |
