1. A method, comprising:
identifying a beginning of a data frame of a signal received by a mobile wireless communication device; exciting, with time-varying voltage levels, a voltage-controlled phased array of a plurality of composite right/left-hand (CRLH)-type leaky-wave antennas associated with the mobile wireless communication device after the beginning of the data frame; determining a directional power spectrum based at least in part on the time-varying voltage levels; determining a direction based at least in part on the directional power spectrum; and determining a working voltage to excite the voltage-controlled phased array portion of the mobile wireless communication device, wherein the working voltage corresponds with the determined direction. |
