1. A method performed by a product data management (PDM) data processing system, the method comprising:
receiving data representing motion of a human generated by a motion capture device; identifying a generated posture of the human relative to objects in a virtual environment; determining whether the generated posture of the human intersects with an object in the virtual environment; and responsive to determining that the generated posture intersects with the object by a threshold amount, identifying a posture that will avoid intersection with the object by the threshold amount, wherein identifying the posture that will avoid the intersection with the object comprises:
generating a prediction of an intended action by the human from the data representing the motion of the human;identifying a plurality of postures that will avoid the intersection with the object; andselecting a posture from the plurality of postures as the identified posture based on the prediction of the intended action. |
