A board ID code label (22), on which a board ID is coded and recorded, is affixed to a circuit board (11). The traceability information management system is provided with: a code reading means (a camera (21)) which reads a board ID from a board ID code label (22) for the circuit board; a code label feeder (23) which supplies a temporary board ID code label (24); a code label affixing means which, when failing to read the board ID, affixes the temporary board ID code label (24) to the circuit board (11); and a means, which registers traceability information in a database (32), for each circuit board (11), in association with the read board ID or temporary board ID and manages the same. A worker, from among circuit boards (11) carried out from a component mounting line, extracts a circuit board (11) to which a temporary board ID code label (24) has been affixed, reads a board ID or the temporary board ID using a bar code reader or the like, and rewrites the ID of the traceability information for the circuit board (11) that has been registered in the database (32) from the temporary board ID to the board ID. |
