PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the consumption of special toner.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes an image forming part 1, a discrimination part 2F, and an adjustment part 2G. The image forming part 1 forms an image on a recording medium, the image including a special image corresponding to special image data in which the density value of the special toner for applying a special effect is specified and a color image corresponding to color image data in which the density value of color toner is specified. The discrimination part 2F discriminates whether the image is observed from an image-forming surface side or observed from an anti-image-forming surface side through the recording medium. The adjustment part 2G performs an adjustment for reducing the density value of the special image data, according to the discrimination result by the discrimination part 2F. |
