<p>The present invention relates to a sign language interpreting system based on web contents using a three-dimensional avatar. Particularly, the present invention provides a system for manufacturing a sign language webpage based on the web to enable a webpage maker to easily manufacture a sign language webpage for people with hearing impairment and speech impairment. For the purpose, the present invention provides a sign language interpreting system comprising: a client PC having an interface for inputting and requesting a text which a webpage maker wants to interpret into a sign language through the internet; a sign language interpretation part for converting the text, which has been requested through the interface of the client PC, into the video of a three-dimensional avatar sign language animation based on a sign language dictionary; a video storage part for storing the video file converted by the sign language interpretation part; an address generating part for generating the name and the internet address of the video file and providing the name and the internet address to the interface of the client PC so that the video file stored in the video storage part can be inserted into a sign language webpage manufactured by a webpage maker; and a sign language interpreting server including a streaming server for providing the video file so that the video file stored in the video storage part can be viewed via streaming through a video player on the sign language webpage manufactured by the webpage maker.</p> |
