PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and downsize structure of a motor jet engine and furthermore to secure high efficiency and high thrust thereof.SOLUTION: A motor jet engine comprises: a casing having an intake port and an exhaust nozzle; a compressor provided in the casing and compressing the air sucked in from the intake port; a motor connected to the compressor and driving the compressor; a fuel cell which is provided closer to the exhaust nozzle side than the compressor in the casing, generates electric power and supplies the electric power to the motor and heats the compressed air with thermal energy generated by heat generation during the electric power generation; and a combustor which is provided closer to the exhaust nozzle side than the fuel cell in the casing, mixes the compressed air heated by the fuel cell with fuel, combusts the resultant mixture and discharges the exhaust from the exhaust nozzle. |
