摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method of producing a rare earth bond magnet that has excellent mechanical strength and a long usable life in a production process and that has a compounding form being excellent in shelf stability and operability; and the rare earth bond magnet.SOLUTION: A method of producing a rare earth bond magnet includes carrying out compression molding of a resin composite magnet material containing rare earth magnet powder, a thermosetting epoxy resin being solid at normal temperature, a curing agent being solid at normal temperature, and a curing accelerator being solid at normal temperature, followed by curing of the thermosetting epoxy resin. A reaction initiation temperature of the curing accelerator is a temperature exceeding a boiling point of a solvent. The thermosetting epoxy resin and the curing agent are dissolved in the solvent, resulting in a solution. A resin composite magnet material is produced by mixing the solution, the rare earth magnet powder, and the curing accelerator together, and then vaporizing the solvent.
