The present invention relates to a vehicle driving control method and a system for the same, which stably drives a vehicle when a brake pedal signal and an accelerating pedal signal are overlapped for more than a set time. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle driving control method comprises: a step of determining whether the vehicle′s speed is over a set speed; a step of determining whether an accelerator position sensor (APS) signal as the accelerating pedal signal is inputted; a step of determining whether a brake position sensor (BPS) signal as the brake pedal signal is inputted; a step of determining whether the BPS signal overlapped for more than the set time is inputted in a state where the APS is inputted; a step of determining whether the APS signal overlapped for more than the set time is inputted in a state where the BPS signal is previously input; a step of, when the BPS signal is overlapped for more than the set time and inputted in the state where the APS signal is inputted, driving a first smart pedal control mode to restrict revolutions per minute (RPM) of an engine into idle RPM; and a step of, when the APS signal is overlapped for more than the set time and is inputted in the state where the BPS signal is previously inputted, and a request torque corresponding to the size of the APS signal that is larger than the torque limitation value corresponding to the engine′s actual state, performing a second smart pedal control mode to set output torque of the engine as the torque limitation value corresponding to the engine′s actual state and drive the engine. |
