A hand drier (1) having: a casing (10) in which is formed a hand insertion part (11) into which a hand of a user can be inserted; a blower motor installed in the casing (10); a hand detection sensor for sensing that the hand of the user has been inserted in the hand insertion part (11); and a blower port for discharging an airflow generated by the blower motor into the hand insertion part (11) when the hand detection sensor has detected the hand of the user, wherein the hand drier (1) has: an operation unit (13) provided with a plurality of capacitive switches for changing device settings; and a key lock switch (15) for configuring the on/off setting of a key lock for disabling operation of the switches of the operation unit (13).
