PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller proxy program and method capable of improving a response speed of an automatic operation by reducing traffic between a target and a controller in a remote and automatic operation system. ! SOLUTION: In a remote and automatic operation system 1 for performing remote and automatic operation via a network 70 by a remote desktop technique, a controller proxy program 21 causes a computer of a target device 10 including a storage section 20 in which remote operation recording data 22 are stored: to receive display data to be transmitted from a target program 11 to a controller program 31, from the target program 11; to intercept transmission of the received display data to the controller program 31; and to transmit the operation data for the received display data, to the target program 11 on the basis of the remote operation recording data 22. !
