REMOVAL APPARATUS FOR RELEASE FILM OF A POLARIZING PLATE AND REMOVAL METHOD FOR THE SAME

An apparatus for removing a release film of a polarizing plate includes an adsorption part, a fixing part, and a roller. The adsorption part is formed on one surface of the polarizing plate, and adsorbs and supports a protection film which includes a first region overlapping the polarizing plate and a second region not overlapping the polarizing plate. The first fixing part fixes at least a part of the second region. The roller peels the release film formed on the other surface of the polarizing plate from the polarizing plate. By using the apparatus for removing the release film of the polarizing plate, the release film can be removed without the generation of defects on the polarizing plate.
