The toilet includes: a skirt section (1) molded of a synthetic resin; a bowl section (5) placed inside of the skirt section (1); and a toilet-seat placement section (6) joined to the upper portion of the skirt section (1) and having a toilet-seat placement surface on which a toilet seat is placed. The bowl section (5) and the toilet-seat placement section (6) are molded of a synthetic resin into a single member. This reduces the number of parts of the toilet.</p>
