<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for coating a steel cord, which has good adhesivity to a steel cord, and is excellent in hardness and heat generation. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for coating a steel cord is prepared by blending 100 pts.mass of a dienic rubber containing a natural rubber with 0.1 to 10 pts.mass of an organic acid cobalt salt, 40 to 80 pts.mass of a carbon black having an N<SB POS="POST">2</SB>SA of≤100 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g, and 0.1 to 20 pts.mass of a resin solution in which a novolac phenolic resin having a softening point of≥84°C is dissolved in an organic solvent composed of an alkoxysilyl group-containing compound in terms of the mass of the novolac phenolic resin, and 0.1 to 20 pts.mass of a hardener, wherein the ratio of the novolac phenolic resin to the organic solvent is 1:0.25 to 1:4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
