METHANOL PRODUCTION METHOD AND SYSTEM USING GTL PRODUCTION PROCESS

Disclosed is a methanol production method using a GTL process and system. The methanol production method using the GTL process comprises: (1) a reforming stage for pre-treating natural gas and producing synthetic gas which includes hydrogen and carbon monoxide through a reaction in the presence of a catalyst by supplying at least one among water vapor, carbon dioxide, oxygen and air; (2) a synthetic stage for carrying out a reaction after supplying the synthetic gas into a Fischer-Tropsch reactor and producing liquid hydrocarbon thereafter; and (3) an upgrading stage for upgrading the liquid hydrocarbon. The unreacted synthetic gas from the Fischer-Tropsch reactor in the synthetic stage is collected and synthesized into methanol.
