The present invention relates to a vehicle headlight irradiation angle automatic adjustment device. More particularly, during nighttime vehicle driving, a conventional headlight of a vehicle is divided into an upper light and a downward adjustment light by upward and downward angle adjustments of the headlight, and thus there has been a problem that when the headlight is adjusted downwards, a long distance cannot be seen, and when the upper light is used, if the distance to a preceding vehicle is short, the vision of the preceding vehicle may be disturbed. The present invention was devised to resolve such a problem. The present invention enables a headlight to be automatically adjusted downwards when the distance to a preceding vehicle is short, and enables the upper and lower angles of the headlight to be automatically adjusted such that the light of the headlight reaches a distance as far as possible while not disturbing the vision of the preceding vehicle when there is no preceding vehicle or when the preceding vehicle is located a long distance away. In order to have such functions, the vehicle headlight irradiation angle automatic adjustment device of the present invention forms a laser distance measurer on the front surface or a headlight of a vehicle. In addition, the vehicle headlight irradiation angle automatic adjustment device of the present invention comprises: a switch for outputting an electric signal in connection with the operation of a switch for turning on a headlight of a vehicle; the laser distance measurer, which is a means for detecting the distance to a preceding vehicle, for detecting the distance to the preceding vehicle and outputting the distance as an electric signal; a control means configured to operate according to the signal outputted from the switch, to receive the signal from the laser distance measurer, which is a means for detecting the distance to a preceding vehicle, and the means for detecting the distance to the preceding vehicle, to calculate a slope angle which is a degree at which the headlight is adjusted upwards or downwards by the received signal, and to output a signal for adjusting the angle of the headlight; and a headlight angle adjusting means which operates according to the signal outputted from the control means and adjusts the irradiation angle of the headlight of the vehicle. |
