Disclosed is an airflow-type mosquito-killing apparatus comprising a housing, a circuit board fixed within the housing, and, electrically connected to the circuit board, a lamp and a fan. The housing is provided with a ventilated mosquito-trapping receptacle corresponding to where an air outlet of the fan is located. Because the present invention has the lamp and fan that are electrically connected to the circuit board fixed within the housing of the airflow-type mosquito-killing apparatus, mosquitoes and insects are positively phototactic, the lamp emits a light to attract mosquitoes and insects, the fan rotates to generate an airflow to blow the mosquitoes and insects that are attracted by the light into the mosquito-trapping receptacle, and the mosquito-trapping receptacle is ventilated, by means of continuous rotation of the fan, the mosquitoes and insects are dehydrated and dried to death. This mosquito-killing scheme is smokeless, odorless, and nontoxic, provides great mosquito-killing effects, is safe to use, and allows people to be free of interference from the mosquitoes and insects. The airflow-type mosquito-killing apparatus is also capable of capturing and killing insects such as flies and fruit flies. |
