THERAPEUTIC AGENT FOR SOLID CANCER

Disclosed is a novel means effective for the treatment of solid cancer, the prevention of metastasis of solid cancer and the prevention of recurrence of solid cancer in human bodies. A therapeutic agent for solid cancer according to the present invention contains, as an active ingredient, an anti-CD4 antibody having a high cytotoxic activity, an anti-CD4 antibody having a cytotoxic component bound thereto or an antigen-binding fragment of any one of the antibodies. Each of the anti-CD4 antibodies is a human-type chimeric antibody, a humanized antibody or a human antibody each against human CD4. The therapeutic agent according to the present invention can exhibit a superior effect when used in combination with an antagonist or agonist for an immune check point molecule, a low-molecular-weight anti-cancer agent or the like. The therapeutic agent is also effective for the prevention of the recurrence and metastasis of solid cancer.
