<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground improvement device that can be made compact by making the ground improvement device low in height and eliminating the need for an extension process and an expansion process, and to provide an expansion device used in the ground improvement device.SOLUTION: A ground improvement device includes: unit link member connection bodies 1A, 1B formed by connecting a plurality of unit link members 11, which form a short-sized hollow pipe by having inner opening parts made to abut on each other, rotatably one after another by using connection members 12; a tip coupling part 2 which couples tips of the unit link member connection bodies; rotary bodies 3a, 3b which wind or feed out the unit link connection bodies respectively; and rotary body driving means 4 driving the rotary bodies. The unit link member connection bodies each have a connection surface 6 where the connection member is formed and a non-connection surface 5 where the connection member is not formed on the opposite side from the connection surface 6, and non-connection surfaces of the unit link member connection bodies sent out from the rotary bodies 3a, 3b abut on each other so as to form a hollow pipe 7.</p> |
