<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a plate type heat exchanger that secures airtightness, especially, even when using a stainless steel plate as a raw material by employing solid-phase diffusion joining instead of brazing as joining of an end face of a plate type component constituting the plate type heat exchanger and flow passages of plate type components.SOLUTION: As rectangular plate type component which has two kind of openings formed at symmetrical positions, a box type component having a tip piece bent inwardly substantially at right angles at a flange part of a peripheral edge is manufactured which is a rectangular plate component as a press molding formed such that one opening is formed in an upward direction of the rectangular plate type component and the other opening is formed in an inward direction of the rectangular plate type component. Box type components in the same shape with the box type component are stacked alternately while inverted in direction in a horizontal plane, and solid-phase diffusion joining is performed at a contact part between a tip piece of an upper stacked component and a punch shoulder-nearby flat part of a lower stacked component.</p> |
