PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-vapor electrolytic hydrogenation apparatus that is more practical.SOLUTION: A water-vapor electrolytic hydrogenation apparatus is a water-vapor electrolytic hydrogenation apparatus for the hydrogenation of to-be-hydrogenated substance by water-vapor electrolysis, and includes: an anode 102 comprising catalyst for oxidizing hydrogen in the water-containing gas; a cathode 103 comprising hydrogenation catalyst; and a proton conductor 101 disposed between the anode 102 and the cathode 103. The proton conductor 101 has a perovskite crystal structure represented by composition formula ABB'O, and in which A is at least one selected from the group 2 elements, B is at least one selected from the group 4 elements and Ce, B' is a group 3 element, group 13 element or lanthanoid element, a, x and δ each is 0.5<a≤1.0, 0.0≤x≤0.5 and 0.0≤δ<3, and the charge of the composition formula is in a range of -0.13 or more and less than +0.14 and is offset from the electrical neutrality. |
