Provided is a method for winding a multistage coil of multiple wires for a transformer. When two or more rectangular electric wires that are horizontally disposed side by side are wound into a coil while being rolled, the method prevents a rectangular wire on the outer side from being deformed due to a difference between the inner and outer circumferences of the rectangular wires. Two or more rectangular electric wires (20) are horizontally disposed side by side and wound into a coil while being rolled at the same time in a horizontal plane. When the two or more rectangular electric wires (20) horizontally disposed side by side are wound into a coil shape in the horizontal plane, the feed amount of the rectangular electric wire (20) on the outer side is made larger than the feed amount of the rectangular electric wire (20) on the inner side. Thus, while a difference between the inner and outer circumferences is caused between the rectangular electric wire (20) on the inner side and the rectangular electric wire (20) on the outer side when the two or more rectangular electric wires (20) horizontally disposed side by side are wound into a coil while being rolled, the rectangular electric wire (20) on the outer side can be prevented from being deformed or worn away because the feed amount of the rectangular electric wire (20) on the outer side is larger than the feed amount of the rectangular electric wire (20) on the inner side.
