PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system that enables the use of a new function of an image forming apparatus even when performing print setting by using an application not designed for the new function.SOLUTION: Even when a new function cannot be set on a setting screen of a terminal device, if a user inputs an arbitrary character string corresponding to a control character string for paper setting in print setting, and transmits a job ticket having the character string embedded in paper setting information to an image forming apparatus, a function corresponding to the character string is made available in the image forming apparatus. |
