<p>The invention relates to a controller for operating a closure by way of a closure drive operator, and a method of controlling a closure. The controller includes one or more manually operable controls, and a lock changeable between a locked condition and an unlocked condition, wherein, when the lock is in the unlocked condition, the controller is operatively configured to allow, using the manually operable controls, selection of one or more operating parameters, and when the lock is in the locked condition, operation of the controller using the manually operable controls is determined on the basis of the one or more selected operating parameters.
