<p>[0050] An A base bottom connected watthour meter socket adapter includes a one piece base having a rear wall surrounded by a raised frame. A cover plate is affixed to the frame to cover the rear wall and supports a watthour meter. Blade terminals are mounted in apertures in the rear wall of the base and are connected to one end of electrical conductors. The conductors pass between the cover plate and a discontinuity in the frame for connection to a watthour meter.
