PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure uniqueness of a node without using special identification information such as an echo net address.SOLUTION: An HEMS controller 100 stores a node list L5 associating MAC addresses of nodes with IP addresses of the nodes. The HEMS controller 100 determines whether a received packet was transmitted beyond a broadband router 2. When it determines that the packet was not transmitted beyond the broadband router 2, the HEMS controller 100 determines whether the IP address included in the packet matches the IP address associated with the MAC address identical to the MAC address included in the packet in the node list L5. When the IP addresses do not match, the HEMS controller 100 updates the IP address associated with the MAC address identical to the MAC address included in the packet in the node list L5 using the IP address included in the packet. |
